Orthopedics and traumatology<\/h1><\/div>

The term “orthopedics<\/strong>” comes from the Greek and literally means “the doctrine of the upright child<\/em>“. Orthopedics refers to a field of medicine that deals with the treatment of congenital malformations, prevention and therapy of chronic diseases, and injuries of the musculoskeletal system<\/strong>. In addition to diagnosing the particular cause of the condition, various treatment options are reviewed and rehabilitation procedures are developed for the patient.<\/p>\n

The human musculoskeletal system is a complex system. Not only bones, muscles and joints, but also tendons, vessels, nerves, ligaments and bursae perform important tasks. If problems occur in any of the above areas, this can lead to pain or restricted movement that is unpleasant for the patient and reduces the quality of life. This must be counteracted.<\/span><\/p>\n
